Terms of Service

You must be at least 13 years old to use the Service. By using the Service you represent that you meet this requirement. If you are under 18, you confirm that a parent or guardian has reviewed and agreed to these Terms on your behalf.

Registration. You may register as an organiser or as a player. You agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information and to keep it up to date.

Credentials. You are responsible for safeguarding your password and for all activity that occurs under your account. Notify us immediately at [email protected] if you suspect unauthorised access.

One account per person. You may not create duplicate accounts or accounts on behalf of others without their consent.

Organisers are granted access to create and manage tournaments on the Service. By acting as an organiser you agree that:

• All tournament data you enter (draws, schedules, scores) is accurate to the best of your knowledge.
• You will use the platform only for legitimate badminton tournaments or similar racquet-sport events.
• You are responsible for communicating event details, rule changes, and results to your participants.
• You will not use organiser privileges to misrepresent results or manipulate standings.

Players register to participate in tournaments facilitated through the Service. By registering as a player you agree that:

• Your profile information (name, discipline, playing level) is truthful.
• You will enter scores honestly when using court score-entry features.
• You will not attempt to manipulate draws, standings, or rankings.

You agree not to:

• Use the Service for any unlawful purpose or in violation of any applicable regulations.
• Attempt to gain unauthorised access to any part of the Service or its infrastructure.
• Transmit malware, spam, or any harmful code.
• Scrape, crawl, or systematically extract data from the Service without prior written permission.
• Impersonate another person or entity, or falsely claim affiliation with any organisation.
• Interfere with the Service's performance or availability for other users.
• Reverse-engineer or attempt to derive the source code of any proprietary component of the Service.

The Shuttle Bracket name, logo, and all platform software are our exclusive property or licensed to us. Nothing in these Terms grants you ownership of or a licence to our intellectual property beyond the limited right to use the Service as described herein.

Tournament data (draws, schedules, results) you create remains associated with your account. You grant us a non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to store, display, and distribute that data as part of operating the Service (e.g. showing public standings and rankings).

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, OR NON-INFRINGEMENT. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE SERVICE WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, ERROR-FREE, OR FREE OF HARMFUL COMPONENTS.

TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, SHUTTLE BRACKET SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES ARISING OUT OF OR RELATED TO YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE, EVEN IF WE HAVE BEEN ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGES.

OUR TOTAL CUMULATIVE LIABILITY TO YOU FOR ANY CLAIM ARISING FROM OR RELATED TO THESE TERMS OR THE SERVICE SHALL NOT EXCEED THE GREATER OF (A) THE AMOUNT YOU PAID US IN THE TWELVE MONTHS PRECEDING THE CLAIM OR (B) USD $50.

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Shuttle Bracket and its officers, directors, employees, and agents from any claim, demand, loss, or expense (including reasonable legal fees) arising out of your use of the Service, your violation of these Terms, or your infringement of any third-party right.

Our Privacy Policy explains how we collect and use personal information. By using the Service you agree to our data practices as described there.

We may suspend or terminate your account at any time if we reasonably believe you have violated these Terms or if required by law. You may close your account at any time by contacting us. Termination does not affect any obligations or rights that arose prior to the effective date of termination.

We may revise these Terms at any time by posting an updated version with a new effective date. Continued use of the Service after the updated Terms are posted constitutes your acceptance of the changes. For material changes we will endeavour to provide reasonable advance notice.

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with applicable law. Any disputes arising under these Terms shall be resolved in the courts of the jurisdiction in which we operate, and you consent to the personal jurisdiction of such courts.
